This repair kit contains oversized retainers that are used to take up some of the play that occurs from the springs in the dual clutch assembly when they have fatigued.
These are used to replace the two-prong style retainers.
There are three different sizes in this kit so you can custom fit the amount of retainers to the amount of play in the assembly.
Green = IS 0.040” Oversized

We specialise in repairing and supplying parts for CVT’s (continuously variable transmission or shiftless transmission).
A CVT consists of a primary and secondary pulley, a pump and a chain or pushbelt.
The central component is known as a variator. The chain or pushbelt connects the two pulley halves. By adjusting the space between the two aligned pulleys, the belt circumference adjusts and the effective diameter of the pulleys are adjusted. This mechanism offers countless gear rations with an unmatched smooth change in speed, unlike that of any other transmission system. The push-belt CVT transmits torque both through “pulling” belt ring tension and also “pushing” link element compression, resulting in ratios from 1:21 to 1:12.7.

In layman’s terms, a mechatronic is the computerized control part of a transmission. It controls the dual clutch system by controlling apply and release function. We stock the full range of transmission vacuum modulators valves used in older more conventional transmissions. These valves determine how much load is on the engine so the transmission can shift properly. It has a vacuum line that connects to the intake and measures the amount of vacuum in the engine that will adjust the line pressure accordingly.
Also known as detent cables, it is an essential part of a carbureted or fuel injected vehicle. The transmission kick down cable works to shift the transmission to a lower gear when the throttle or fuel injection lever moves to an open position. Also used to control line pressure in models without vacuum modulator.
